James Dykstra graduated from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Like many other Liberal Arts graduates, he found an Associate position with a small tax firm in Garden City, Kansas. Finding enjoyment in the “art of business,” he went onto work for an oil and gas exploration company in Garden City. It was in this role that he found his passion for management and entrepreneurship, and most importantly, the ability to help people become more successful in their own careers. During his time in Garden City, James also completed his Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Phoenix.

In June of 2014, James bought Resources Unlimited a training and development company in Des Moines, IA. Then in February of 2015, James bought Veseca, (Switzer Resource Group, Inc) another training and development company in Kansas City, MO.

Since February of 2015, he became certified in Everything DiSC and has earned facilitator accreditation in The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, a Wiley course. He is excited to assist his clients with the tools and resources they need to minimize the stress in their lives and provide them a better way of developing their people.

In his off-time, James prefers to be with his wife watching their daughter grow up and enjoying the small things in life; like his daughter dancing to the movie “Frozen.” In addition, James likes to be outside experiencing nature via hunting, fishing, and of course the beach when he’s near the ocean.
